These are some boards which commonly appear-what would you do faced with them? You can say if you'd deal the low, high, or medium offer-or all three?

Board One
Four blues, two low reds, the £100,000 and £250,000 [eight-box] (examples: Donna (3), Alain)
Bankers Offers
low-£15,000
medium-£22,000
high-£28,000

Board Two
Two blues, £35,000, £75,000, and £250,000 [five-box] (examples: Jane (3), Stella, Patrick)
Bankers Offers
low-£40,000
medium-£50,000
high-£60,000

Board Three
Two blues, £35,000, £50,000 and £75,000 [five-box] (examples: Bindya, Miles, Jamie (sometimes with £20,000 instead of £35,000)
Bankers Offers
low-£20,000
medium-£25,000
high-£30,000

I would not deal any on the first board, deal £60,000 and maybe £50,000 on the second board, and £30,000 on the third board.

Board One
No Deal to all three

Board Two
£50,000

Board Three
No Deal to all three, although a lot of deliberation over £30,000.

Board one - I'd probably turn down £15k and probably take £22k. I'd definitely take £28k.

Board two - Well they're all the same to me really...£40k might as well be £60k in my book. I'd probably take them all.

Board three - Well it depends if it's the £20k or £35k there. If it's the £20k I'd take £20k, but if it's the £35k I'd probably only take £25k. I'd take £30k with either of them there.

Board One - no deal £15,000, deal £22,000, deal £28,000.

Board Two - deal £40,000, deal £50,000, deal £60,000.

Board Three - with £20k there - probably deal £20,000, definitely deal £25,000, definitely deal £30,000; with £35k there - tempting to deal, but probably no deal £20,000, probably deal £25,000, definitely deal £30,000.

Board One

Four blues, two low reds, the £100,000 and £250,000 [eight-box] (examples: Donna (3), Alain)

Banker's Offers:

low-£15,000 No deal
medium-£22,000 No deal
high-£28,000 No deal

Both highest sums in play for goodness sake with a decent consolation backup!

Board Two

Two blues, £35,000, £75,000, and £250,000 [five-box] (examples: Jane (3), Stella, Patrick)

Banker's Offers:

low-£40,000 No deal
medium-£50,000 No deal
high-£60,000 Tempting deal, but probably no deal.

Board Three

Two blues, £35,000, £50,000 and £75,000 [five-box] (examples: Bindya, Miles, Jamie (sometimes with £20,000 instead of £35,000)

Banker's Offers:

low-£20,000 No deal
medium-£25,000 No deal
high-£30,000 Probably no deal

On the first board, I would be tempted to take the middle offer. On balance, I would take the chance of only dealing the higher offer, as there's a lot to play for.

(And I'm not influenced by what happened in Donna's game.) :P

Board two, is easy. The middle offer would secure my exit.

And board three is difficult. The low offer is slightly too low for me (except if it were with £20,000 in play, not £35,000), but I would easily accept the middle one.

The kind of board where I would deal at 8 box would be one with 2 high reds and 6 blues and an offer of around £25,000 because the odds are that you will take at least one of the two reds out before 5 box (64% chance) and see your offer reduced, and then as you try to chase the 8 box offer by no dealing at 5 box you probably see the other red picked out and you go home with a blue. If you have three decent reds and 5 blues at 8 box then you have a 1.8% chance of taking those reds out before 5 box so I would usually no deal unless the offer was really high. The key with making a success of no dealing is usually based on how much insurance you have if things go a bit wrong but as we've seen, if the offers are low because of a bad board and you have a "one box game" then it is worth taking the risk of going deep into the game.

Board 1: not even a decision to make at £28k. £22k would be a definite Deal for me too and I might even take £15k. This board is misread more than almost any other, nobody considers the 65%-ish chance of hitting at least one. edit: except rico, evidently

Board 2: The 10% chance of disaster might be enough for me to take any of those. But I think I'd need £50k to go, maybe even rejecting that.

Board 3: Two blues and the lowest three of the Power 5? A truly crazy one, what with the mean being below the median; I'd take the £30k, turn down the £20k without thought, and quickly turn down £25k also - unless the 1p was still there, in which case after today's excuse for a game I might be tempted to Deal.

Board 1:
No Deal to all three.

Board 2:
Deal £60,000 (perhaps the £50,000 as well but not the £40,000)

Board 3:
No deal to all three
