Surprised about 1p Nick making the tiebreak, I guess he must have got some new fans from the Saturday repeat.

I always thought he would have a good chance here - he's the one early contestant everyone knows even if they weren't watching that far back. And I expect most have seen at least part of his game before.

I was just surprised he started so slowly, think all the Jim fans came out and voted early and then Nick gradually caught up!

I think Nick has this one won now, he has all of his fans and all of the people who hate Jim. Still Nicks game was a turning point in DOND and one of the most memorable from the ealry days so he deserves a place on the line up, if only Jim was in a different position.

Put it this way - would Nick even be in the running if he'd had an average game? Obviously I can't prove it either way, but I really don't think he would have. Whereas with Jim R, the result is irrelevant - he was a legend regardless of what he won! Although I suppose if he'd won the £250k he wouldn't have been able to make the speech about not being a greedy person...still, his celebrations after winning it would have been even more memorable!

It quite simply has to be Jim R. Or I really will be angry...and that's not just me quoting him.

Well, I was struggling to decide between them inititally, but ended up going for Jim R, so will do again! Nick's had his fair share of fame!

(Bet Jim doesn't get his game repeated as a classic)

That's a fair point I guess, but he also had to overcome the disadvantage of the fact he played in early January 2006, before this forum existed and before a lot of people were watching...

(Strangely enough, this poll seems to be going the opposite way from the first - this time it was Nick who raced off into the lead and now Jim's caught up and overtaken him!)
