Warnings: 0
I've noticed in the last couple of games the contestants have all been holding hands and moving them up and down, like they always used to do last year. It seemed to stop after a while, and only used in extreme cases, like Laura's game.

Is the return of the hand-holding a welcome thing? Or is it going to turn people off?

I like it. It makes the contestants look really close, like a big family, I think it generates positivity and shows that everybody is bothered about a good outcome and that everyone is focusing on the game.

I like it too, for the same reasons you gave, but only at critical stages. It would get a bit silly if they did it all the time and the novelty would wear off.

I don't mind them as they're used right now. I remember Anna from early last year saying on here that they cut down on it after a while so it didn't get too overused.

Mid-last year they did it every show and it got silly, sort of like what the blue chants have become. So hopefully by, say, July, they won't just spend the entire game holding hands...

It's miles better than the blue chants we have had recently.

The hand holding really doesn't bother me at all and is actually quite nice I think - it's certainly FAR better than the blue chanting that has been happening recently... at least when they all hold hands, I don't have to reach for the remote control to turn the sound down, which is what I have to when they do the blue chants! :?
