Strictly depending on the offer, and my circumstances, I would happily gamble on any amount for the £250 000, I would be gambling for the £250 000, every other amount I would class as not the £250 000 (duh)

Depending on the probability, the numbers left, the statistics and the maths, I would most likely c arry on

So from that, you've probably gathered I would be a pretty big gambler in the chair! Better to regret something you did rather than something you didn't, at the end of the day, it doesn't matter anyway. A suitable prize for a once in a lifetime opportunity I think is life changing money- but from that, an amount like £5 000 would be nice any day!

Completely depends on what the offer/situation was.

1. Laura's £45K final offer was low, but I'd have taken that. I'd probably have taken any kind of offer above £20K even though I'd see it as a personal insult. I wouldn't risk that kind of money on the toss of a coin. £20K means too much to me for that, even though winning the 1p wouldn't really bother me.

2. I'd probably gamble on a £50K/£250K final two, possibly as low as £35K or £20K, but no lower. It would depend on the offer.

3. I don't bother with the mean, I prefer to look at how many numbers are above the offer on the board. If there are five boxes left and only one is above the offer, then for me it is time to deal. If there are two boxes higher than the offer then I might go on. If there were three boxes higher than the offer I would definately carry on.

1. I'd no-deal anything up to about £40k on 1p v £250k. Any less and I'm sure I'd manke the money up by means of fame if I lost!

2. Assuming non-joke offers, deal on £250 v a blue, I'd have to consider how good the offer was on £250k v a low or middle red, and if it was against another power 5 I'd probably no-deal whatever!

3. Probably deal it whatever, unless the volatility was VERY low. If it the game had ccollapsed, I'd deal the likely joke sum, certainly if it was less than £20!

Probably around £30,000. Though I might lose my nerve even then and deal... or no-deal a higher one in the heat of the moment because of feeling it was an insulting offer. Who knows until you're actually put in that position, playing for real money in front of an audience?

All depends on the offer. There's no longer the honour of being the first winner, so £175,000 on a £100k/£250k final pair would give you a unique and probably unbeatable highest deal record! As well as it being a lot to risk on a coin-flip. I think I'd no deal £150k on that final pair though.

Probably deal if the money was significant, though could be tough to settle for a moderate amount when one or more of the power 5 were still there.

If it's a blue/blue finish, perhaps deal for comedy value/Geordie's pint or just go on regardless, depending on how I felt!

(Interesting this, I'd be a lot more cautious at the 2-box stage than any other stage. When it's a straightforward 50-50 chance of losing a lot of money, or of going home with next to nothing, I think it would be a lot tougher to gamble. Though any Banker would probably struggle to get me out of the chair before the 5th offer.)

2. £35,000, but if the offer was less than £100,000 with £15,000 or £20,000, I'd no deal.

Well if I had 35k or above left its illrellavent coz id be NDing any other amount below the power 5 though if it was seriously above the mean i'd be out of there.

PS on a side note whoever said they would still DEAL with 250k/100k is a liar with all due respect NO ONE would take a deal in that scenario. your going home with at least 100 grand so its all to gain and I would think most people nothing to lose.
If anyone ever got to this situation and dealt i'd have no respect what so ever for doing something so stupid when the decision is obvious.

Er, no...if, for example, you're offered £175,000, you have £75,000 to lose. And "only" another £75,000 to gain. £165,000+ and I'd probably be gone.

Nah man if I got that amazing scenario id damn sure take advantage and im sure most would. Nothing to lose I see it as I'm going home with 100K or im gonna ad another £150k to i'd not even think of the offer because I know its gonna be 160 -170k and at that point I'd only want the top prize.
