For some reason, I sort of call the lowest three reds oranges, as on the board, they're more orange than red.

I have heard some call them pink, but quite surprisingly, purple (red+blue) has never been used as a term for those three lowest reds.

Are there any other terms (colorwise) that are used for them?

I think it was Paul from February 2006 who refered to the board as a flower, or something like that. He said the blues were brown representing the soil, the low reds were green to represent the stalk and the power 5 were golden to represent the petals.

For some reason i see £5k as being so much more impoartant than £3k, and I've no idea why. I see £1k and £3k as almost interchangable, even though, ratiowise, there's more difference between them!

I would have gambled on Penny's last two, but replace the £5k with one of the 2 lowest reds and I probably wouldn't (given the same offer)!

On the DVD game if you reveal £1k or £3k at any stage of the game (pre-deal) everybody cheers...but if you reveal £5k upwards at any stage everybody groans and sometimes even screams and shouts.

I call them 'oranges' - I think that's more the colour they appear on the board!
