Everything has its value I guess.

If someone was offering the mini-replica DonD box and poem that 50 Shows Lucy received from the Banker in her show, then for me at least, money would probably be no object. I'd go to £50 no problem, maybe as high as £100-£150, but that is only because we are talking about a true DonD legend here. I'd even consider turning to crime and rob a bank in order to secure it! :smt055

I'm not sure how I'd price Neil's bubble bath. In my mind, it would all depend on how much of a legend they were - if 1p Nick's framed cheque ever came on the open market for example it would probably go through the roof. I've no idea where Neil's £350 valuation comes from (did he get it autographed by Noel, in which case, yes, it may be worth that figure) :?: That price needs to be halved or even quartered for anyone to take it half seriously, surely? Is anyone that insane or desperate to own a piece of DonD history? :-D

I would bid a maximum of £2.50 for all of that. The name badge is cardboard and useless, so i would request that for free, and thre bubble bath probably came from ASDAs. And the neil photo - for his avatar on spankthebanker if he ever joins.

I have to agree. I HATE anyone who tries flogging off stuff like this for £150 over its selling price just because Neil put a cover on it saying it was by the banker. Its radox probably.

£155 is slightly more realistic, but as the creator of the official 'what would you pay on eBay for this?' thread, I can tell you that most of the people on the forum would not pay £155 for anything except possibly the chance to open a box on air, a tour of the studio or a guaranteed appearance on the show as a contestant. Even the official DOND mugs, which are like gold dust and which everybody wants (even contestants if Dave Show56 is to be believed!) would only sell for about £50 tops if one appeared on eBay.

Neil is overpricing this bubble bath by a huge margin. If he really wants to sell, I suggest he starts at £5 and see if he can encourage anybody in at that level to bid against each other and push it up a bit. I can't see anybody paying much more than £20. If he is expecting three figures, I'm afraid to say he is living in fantasy land.

If it was me, I'd be advising him to keep it. I really don't believe it is that marketable, even if someone wanted to open a DOND musemn! :D

Obviously you have not seen his show. It was given to Neil when the Banker rang after round 1. Basically saying that Neil looked up to the Banker as a father figure, the Banker told Noel to look under the table, and Noel produced the bubble bath. Maybe it is Radox... I don't know, the bottle is unopened. However it is legit and genuinely came from the show. I suggest before you open your mouth again, you might want to check the facts.
