h2005 mentioned this on another thread, this post on Bother's Bar from someone who went to a recording suggests they've finally decided to ban the "Blue! Blue! Blue!" chants...

http://www.haloscan.com/comments/brigbother/dealep413/#309941

It seems perhaps they have been listening to people's views on here and other sites! (Maybe next we will see Noel encouraging people to deal again...) But will you be pleased to see them go?

Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!

Maybe from now on we'll get to hear more from the players on the wings and not repetitive nonsense.

YES! YES! YES!

They really had got to a stupid level recently, making me lower the sound on the TV whenever they started.

It's good that Endemol seem to take note of what people think - either by reading our opinions on here and other sites, or by reading what people put at the studios (I believe they still have a "Leave your feedback" box) - judging by the fact the blue chants are now banned after the negative response they have largely received on here...

I could tolerate the blue chants in a game where it was at a crucial stage, but they've been doing them so early in the game it's got stupid. :(

Yes. Mildly. Atmosphere's fine, but they'd probably gone too far - and if this gives characters on the wings airtime, and is reflective of Endemol listening to us, it's brilliant news.

It was becoming a bit of a farce, I'm very glad they've banned the chanting.

I was wondering when the blue chants first started, and have found the first reference to them on this forum was in this game - £1 Raj in May last year.

Depending on when they stopped them in filming, it may well be a year on from that before we actually see them disappear from the show!

Like there being no questions except one? :p

(And yes, every version before ours had a trivia bit before the DoND bit!)
