...when it was time for the offer, what would have happened?

Would they have made Geoff forfeit that offer for miscounting and have to open another two boxes - after all nobody ever deals the second offer anyway - or would it have been a repeat of the Massimo/Tom situation where they would have had a full reshuffle before continuing? Any ideas?

It would be another boxgate situation. They would almost certainly not change the format and only open 2 boxes in the next round, I think they would have to reshuffle everything.

I don't think he would ever have gotten as far as opening the box. What would probably have happened is that Nathan would have taken the seal off and Noel or another player/audience member would have told him to stop, and then Geoff would have had to pick that box next.

Yes, I don't think Nathan would've got as far as actually opening the box - and if he had pulled the seal, then Geoff would've had to choose Nathan for his next box - that would've been his next choice anyway, so there would've been no problem, in theory.

However, if Nathan had actually opened the box, I'm not sure what would've happened - I'd like to think that they would have just counted that as the first box of the next round, rather than reshuffling the boxes - look what happened to Massimo's game after they did that! Although maybe judging by the luck Geoff had in his game - maybe a box reshuffle may have been a good thing?!
