Just read another thread and it made me realise how little we know about the contestants there at the moment. So I'll give each one a Banker's file.

A really talker. Doesn't really understand what's going on. Is a gambler, and often does horses.

Gives words of wisdom.

Scottish. Likes Noel. Very sweet and lovely. Liked by every contestant.

W5: Nathan
Empty.

W6: Nigel
Number 19 means alot to him.

W7: Kerry
Blows kisses.

W8: Philomena
Empty.

W9: Joe
Empty.

W10: Sarah B
From Birmingham.

W11: Geoff
Empty.

E1: Jay
Scouser. Referred to as Action Man.

E2: Di
A naturist.

E3: Ian
Generous with help for Doug.

E4: Christine
Empty.

Empty.

E6: Sheran
Has a sense of humour. Found the Noel/Doug banter funny. Is engaged to a tall man.

E7: Dee
Has a daughter.

E8: Kelsie
Easily intimidated. Wears big chunky glasses but now knows she looks better without them.

E9: Jean
Has a husband named Derek, and she thinks he is wonderful.

E10: Steven
Would gamble with 3 of the Power 5 remaining. Gives advice.

E11: Rich
Doesn't have many psychic abilities. Likes rubbing his hands together.

Contrary to popular belief, there's never been a time when we've known much about the majority of the contestants waiting to play. They tend to concentrate on perhaps 4 or 5 at a time who get plenty of screen time, you get a couple of "crazy" ones, an "advice" or "stats" person, a "psychic" or "anti-psychic" one perhaps, but don't really learn a lot else about them before they play.

Yes you can look back at past eras and think you remember all the contestants, but probably 80% of those it's just their actual game you really remember them from.

Noel often calls him "Action Man".



Steven has given quite a lot of advice and seems to be well liked by the other contestants - Patrick asked his advice, for example. Also, he seems to be a gambler in the right set of circumstances - he said he'd carry on if he had at least 3 of the Power 5 left.

Indeed - we've recently had Noel talking about Doug and Debbie, and Rich and Steven as being mad pairings - I know Debbie's gone, and the Mystic Rich stuff has now stopped, but that still leaves Doug and probably Di as the crazy ones. The advice people seem to be Jay, Steven, Nigel and Ian at the moment... and I think they're building Geoff up to be a crazy one nearer his show.



Yeah - 1p Trevor is a memorable contestant - but he only did 14 shows on the wings and I think that is an example of where we remember the contestant more because of their game!

That's how it seems to be on screen, but we don't know what's been edited out. On her first show, Betty seemed really talkative, but has hardly said a word since. I quite like it when I don't really notice someone in the wings and they turn out to be a fantastic player. For example, when Adrian was picked a few weeks ago, I genuinely couldn't remember who he was.

I thought he was from Liverpool or somewhere near that region? He doesn't sound Irish.

Jay is definately a Scouser.
