Apart from those said about Noel, which I agree with, there are a few things bugging me about the show.

The camera angles at the end when opening the box. Nearly all the time, they have the camera panned on to the face of a different player, just as the box at the table is being opened. They then quickly switch to the box, which Noel is about to close already. Or, they zoom in really close to the box on the table, so when it is opened, you only see half of the value or something. Bring back the front-on angles!

The fake groans. Recently (I think it was in Ians game) when the £20,000 went, you could clearly hear fake groans played over the audience. What's the point? It sounds cheap.

Rant over for the moment, I'm sure I could think of other things!

maybe they were trying to make it more realistic - in a game like fridays you should really groan when the £20k goes - what ever the board its still a hell of a lot of money.

This is something I have noticed which I think it is a bit odd - however, is it to cater for people who have widescreen televisions and / or have their TVs set in widescreen (16:9 mode)? If it's the latter, then they should still ensure that the figure in the box can be viewed on 4:3 sets - I believe they have an edge around the screen called a "safe zone" - where they have to ensure nothing "important" goes into this zone, just in case some people's televisions crop the image too much?!

Also, I hate it when Noel's head is in the way of the camera, so you can't see the value! Annoying!
