In the early days there would be a little bit of chat with the players in each wing so we got to know their personalities. Noel doesn't do this much nowdays. So we are not seeing personalities develop. I think you need a bit of that to keep it interesting.

Well we know about Di being a naturist...Rich is rubbish at predicting boxes...Doug is a gambler and gambles on horses mainly...but other than that we know pretty much nothing about the contestants. Nigel, Sheran, Ian, Sarah B, Betty and Tess we know practically nothing about, all of whom have been there a while.

i notice in the classic game on saturday. noel had a short chat the contestant before the box opening, they dont do it any more

Noel doesn't give them time to talk, it was better in the olden days... we learnt so much more then, we just learn about 1 or 2 now.
