As most of you will know, especially KP, no one has Dealt at the third offer since Mike, who played on 7th December last year. With the current high offers, and Noel's speeches about courage, when will we see the next one?

I'd imagine that it will be a while before another one occurrs, but DoND is unpredictable, particularly at the moment. What do you all think?

I hate them. I think Betty will, because old people either deal really early, or go all the way, no offence made to anyone, its really each to their own.

It's about how much money is right for you.As well as the strength of the board.Going at the 3rd offer does not make you a coward it means you know the value of money

I've really enjoyed all the games I've seen with a 3rd offer deal - (the ones from Johnnie onwards) - they CAN be entertaining, and a lot of the funny stuff survives the edits due to having extra time! :)

And in Melanie and Harry's games in particular, when every big red was revealed, I shot up off the sofa and cheered! :)

The only thing it does do is leave yourself open to inflated proveout offers and a probable TBW (Lofty, Barbara, for instance) - no way would Barbara have been offered £27,500 with £250,000 and nothing!

I just keep getting this vision that Rachel will get a really high 3rd/4th offer and will deal, but end up witha Micheala kind of situation. I could just imagine it, but who knows.

It seems like no one is dealing early these days, but maybe the producers are casting people who they think will go all the way to the end, or at least to 8 boxes to make the game more exciting. If I was in Georgina's position on Wednesday, I'd probably have dealt at the 3rd offer.

Whilst the show would undoubtedly be boring if everyone dealt at the 3rd offer, I think we certainly need some more 3rd offer dealers! As has already been said in this thread, we've had none since December. Odd, considering that the banker is making such high early offers these days... you'd have expected someone to deal early. I think we need some just to see how Noel would react if it turned out they dealt too soon. And if they'd dealt at the right time, it'd be fantastic!!!

If we had another Matt situation, where his first two rounds were all blue, and he was offered £35k, I think a lot of people would go there and then. I'd certainly consider it.

I'd have been out like a shot in that game.

I reckon we'll end up waiting a couple of months though. By then, hopefully we'll be onto contestants who were chosen after Laura's game was recorded.
