I think 50 is too long, really. Any more than that is ridiculous! Imagine someone being there 100 shows. Without a doubt their own show would be a complete anti-climax. And having one player go on that long would put make them seem more important than the other contestants. Its not what DoND is about.

Heh, imagine if Lucy was still there now!

"So Lucy, how many shows now?"

"Two hundred and ninety-seven"

"Oh, quite alot then..."

Joking aside, I don't think it really matters how many shows a contestant does, as long as it's 22 or more. Although saying that – 1p Trevor, Flash, Ken, Gaz, Dot, Colin, Mally, Frank, Beryl, Pam, Andy K, Wendy etc etc, were all legends and only did a small amount of shows, so it really doesn't matter!

Agreed it makes them look as though they are special so deserve to be on TV more than the others, which may upset some of the contestants.I would say 40 shows maximum.

50 shows is definitely too long IMHO. Contestants should be on DoND for 25 shows MAXIMUM.

I think they should set a maximum of 35.

I don't think there should be a maximum, but I think there should be a minimum of about 15. I don't think there will ever be a player to do 50 again. How do they decide how long each player will be on for and when each player plays?

That has been the subject of much debate on the forum before - why is it that some really popular contestants do a low show count (like Millie)? :?

No more than 50 as there's a lot of people that would like to appear as contestants patiently waiting for their opportunity! :D

I'm starting to wish they'd just give everyone 22 shows and do it in order. It's pissing me off that legendary players like Gloria keep playing early, whereas others stay for ages despite never really doing much.
