How many other DOND contestants have been on Steve Wright's quiz? I know Bob from March was on it in November, and now Andy Kelly in a few days time...

I always thought that part of the show was live! It goes to show they must make a good job of the editing to make it seem live...

I must admit I thought it was live too. It's like the syndicated shows on commercial radio where you can wrongly think that the DJ is exclusive to your local station, but when callers phone in the DJ doesn't mention where they're calling from and you hear the local radio station jingle even tailored to a voiceover from that DJ to make you think that the same show isn't being aired on a number of other local stations.

Im fed up of shows supposedly being live and they arnt (radio shows included).

i went to see Talking Telephone numbers be recorded years ago and it was supposed to be live on a Monday and it was only part live, the rest was on a Sunday.

Andy beat the other contestant (who was the current reigning champion) by 11 points to 6! He won some office-related prizes... and he's coming back tomorrow for the chance to win more prizes... if he wins tomorrow's quiz, he'll win extra prizes, then either have the chance to gamble on and win more prizes (but if he loses one quiz he'll only be able to pick one prize), or he can bail out and take what he's got already!

It's available to listen again on the Radio 2 website - Andy appears at about 1:50 in the recording!
