I was just wondering how long it took after you applied to get a phone call offering an audition ( if you were lucky enough to :D )

I got mine mid-morning, around 11am, if that helps :).

I'm surprised no-one else has responded yet.

Best of luck.

I applied on 19 January 2006 and got an call for the audition a few weeks later.

The audition was in APril and I got a call at the end of May to say that they had enough just now but I would probably get another call in late September.

I got a call the last week in September and was asked down for filming in November. :D

so all in all from start to finish was just under a year - however some people were really quick.

I think the fact I was Scottish made my wait longer as they only ever have one scottish person at a time :?

Pam

That seems like a pretty unfair policy!

Jim R and Jim H were on at the same time, though. Not only both Scottish, but both called Jim!

now i dont normally care about racists,or whether anyone is racist or not, but that is an exception. WHY CAN THE SIMPLE BLOODY FACT THAT YOU'RE SCOTTISH HAVE ANY EFFECT WHATSOEVER ON YOUR APPLICATION[etc]??!i may only have sympathy here because i am half-scottish myself, and also.....you applied over a YEAR before your game was aired???damn endemol.

Like Tom Hanks and his football on that island in 'Cast Away', it looks like it's just me and the bots here now. But that's alright, we're having a grand old time. Aren't we, Wilson? WILSOOOON?!

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

99% of applicants will apply an infinite amount of years before their game is aired because they will never get on the show.

What have Endemol done wrong? THey haven't been racist... as proved by abouve posters their have been many socttish players.
