We've had some great ways of opening the boxes recently:

Joseph - slams hand down hard on the box, then carefully opens the box
Khanny - removes the seal and carefully places it on the bench, next to the box.
Mark - He's so tall he has to bend down and lean on the box in order to get down to a level where he is able to open it!

And, today in Sal's game, Mark opened it too violently, hit his microphone and it made a loud ping noise, and then nearly pushed the box off the back of the table... did anyone else notice that? It was hard to miss!Haha!

I love the way Khanny opens his box! I love the way he so very neatly puts the seal down, he is so delicate with it! As if his saying "You stay there for a minute, while I lift the lid, there's a good little seal..."

What about some of the players who couldn't open them properly? I liked the way Duchess Helen opened hers.

That's what I was trying to say when I said, "Khanny - removes the seal and carefully places it on the bench, next to the box. ", except you explained it with a lot more feeling, Banker! Haha.

Because June was short, when she opened her box,you could only just see the top of her head and her eyes peeking out above the lid of the box! Even the Banker (the real Banker, not the forum's Banker) said he'd miss it when he saw her doing that!

Jim, he places his left arm firmly across the box, his right hand comes forward elegantly, removes the tag and reveals a low number

He only used his right arm to open the box?

I just like the really crap ones...like when Nessie couldn't get the lid off in Drew's game, or when Lindsay inadvertently revealed the contents of her box before actually opening it in Paul's game.

Or Pat G's game, where Sarah struggled with the seal a bit because it was her first game...*sigh*...

I noticed in one of the recent games, the seal stuck to Rosy's hand! :)

Yeah, sorry, your post read "removed the tag with his ", and I thought you meant for a moment that he did both box actions with his right hand!

I remember when one player (a woman, but can't remember who) had her son in the audience, and at the end, he opened her box, and she said, "Hang on, he's left handed" and Noel jokingly stepped in and said, "If you're right handed, put your left hand on the box and pull the seal with your right hand, if you're left handed, put your right hand on the box and pull the seal with your left hand".

I'm right handed, but I think I'd probably pull the seal with my left hand...the seal is on the left of the box after all.

That also happened recently to another player... or perhaps it was a clip of Pat M or another DOND legend I watched on YouTube?

Marilyn!

And ooh, you just reminded me of the time when Stevie got the seal stuck on her hand in Susie's game! Hahah, that was the best thing ever...

"...Well, it's stuck to me. It'll be red there, look, it's stuck to me! Sorry about this!"

Hahahahahaha. I *beep* love it.

I think Noel was a bit shirty (oh,shirty! Noel's shirts... LOL), anyway he was shirty with Stevie when she said her favourite colour was blue... and he just said, "Yeah, open it".

And what about the time Max told Stevie and Noel to stop their little conversation because she was on a roll with choosing the boxes? Poor Stevie!

Hahaha, yeah, that was Gary's game. Stevie was such a legend.

"I told you to stay away from me! Ignore me! Pretend I'm not here!"

"Don't worry Stevie, I won't shout at you if it's red..."
"You can hit me though, if you like!"

Hahaha, and then she would always repeat everything to herself whilst laughing at it...aww I loved Stevie.

Yeah, and she reminds me of a family friend, who looks, sounds and acts the same as Stevie, and also has a similar, or even the same character to Stevie's. But she isn't Stevie. Honest. ;)
