Sorry, I know yet another thread about today's show is probably the last thing people want to see, but I'd be quite interested to see just how many people knew nothing of what was going to happen in today's show until it was actually aired. If you managed not to hear anything, then well done! I think a lot of people are very jealous...

Yep - spoiled for me.

I tried to try and avoid it, I kinda did but, I saw a few misplaced bits of information and ended up knowing about it..

Made the show not that enjoyable to be honest :?
It was funny watching it being 80% sure of the result - all the references to it being the £250k winner during the game seemed odd...

The amount of spoilers about this site made it pretty hard for it not to be spoiled, with new people coming straight on and setting threads up like, "Has Laura's £250k show been shown yet?"

I am very jealous for anyone who didnt get this show spoiled for them

Yep - If you didn't know about it you must have been living in a different world, it was really hard to avoid and on the forums here we have had new members posting things like ''Has it been won?'' so really it was hard to avoid and if you did well done.

Well I've voted no even though I already knew she had won.. if someone like Khanny had won the big one then I probably would have said yes it's been spoilt.. but for someone to genuinely consider a deal at £14,999 and then NO deal at £45,000 then nothing was spoilt for me..

I was still on the edge of my seat and I still cried

I only knew it was a female who won the £250k sometime this month. I was shocked that it was today. So nope, not spoiled for me. Then again, I actively avoided all the spoilers, and psychic Sarah protected me <3.

Yep.

Again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again.

Still awesome, though. I just wish it hadn't been spoiled again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again

Yes, it was spoiled for me and I heard about it in many places - I had my doubts that she did win it though, when the £100k went in the first round, followed by many other high amounts, and also the fact that she seemed to be considering each offer so carefully made me think that the spoiler was wrong! It certainly would've been a much more dramatic show if it hadn't been spoiled, though. Nonetheless, it was a great show, and I've always wondered what would happen when the £250k was won - now I know!

It was "spoiled" but not "spoilt" - it was still unbelievavbly exciting and I was still shaking at the end!

I had heard different fragments of what had happened, but I don't think I saw them all in one place. Thus, I went through a completely different emotional rollercoaster to the one I should have been on - I was going from 'here we go, this is it' to 'no way is this going to be it, Laura's a Dealer and this board is scary' to 'oh, it's gonna be a six-crap-offers game, isn't it?' to 'nope, she's going at £19,999' to 'it's gonna happen, isn't it?' and then, at the final joke, 'yup, it's gonna happen alright!'.

It was a disconcerting experience to watch it, I must say!

I'm not sure I can vote. I knew it was coming, I don't know if it ruined my viewing experience (it altered it beyond recognition, but I'm not so sure it ruined it). I suspect I'm speaking for a lot of people here - watching it with any idea of the outcome was extraordinarily weird given the board, if it had been a Brenda-esque board I'm sure it would have been different!

Dead right.

If anything, I found it actually sustained the tension and excitement for much longer. I was a bit like KP - I couldn't quite believe that a seemingly cautious player, with a cautious friend in the audience and a bit of an unstable board could actually produce the game that we'd all been led to believe that she had!

It ruined it for me a lot, because I'd normally be downstairs with my family watching it for parts of it, but I couldn't bring myself to go downstairs in case I accidently let it slip some way.

Yeah, it was spoilt for me.

Like Tictac said, nobody actually told me and I didn't read any spoilers, but there were some information about it in places where it shouldn't have been, and thats how I found out.

In some ways, yes I think it did take some tension away from the game, had I not known about it, it would have been more enjoyable to watch. That's the one thing I hate about spoilers, is that you can never be sure if you would have reacted in the same way if you had not known, I think I can safely say, my reaction would have been a little different than it was that's for sure!! But at the end of the day, it didn't really matter whether I knew or not, it was still nerve-wracking to watch!

I agree with KP, it was weird watching it knowing the outcome, it almost looked obvious she was going to win the big prize because of the references to the £250,000 and the low offer of £45,000. However, at times it was impossible to predict, at one point, I thought she was going to deal and thought "Nope, the rumour was a hoax, she's gonna take this" I liked the idea of it being a hoax, that would have been quite hilarous, I'm sure you guys would be pissed off. "The 250,000 gone! What! No! That's not meant to happen!!" "FIX!"

One final thing, I noticed there were a couple of shots of the crew which gave the game away really, I mean they didn't have shots of the crew in Morris or Kirsty's games, so it was all abit suspicious.

Firsty I heard a 24 year old woman won it, then I saw all the hype about Laura finally joining, so I'd figured it out then, so I knew all along.

But I don't care - it was good enough as it was. It's only annoying when I know what people win on ordinary days. For example, if someone told me that today Craig would play and he would deal at the fourth offer of £10,000 I wouldn't bother watching. (By the way, if that info about Craig is true, it's a bloody big coincidence beacuse I just said that hypothetically).

I read a thread someone had posted which wasn't in the spoiler section saying that the £250,000 win was imminent, and then revealed when (however this was hidden). Although I didn't know when she was going to win it, at the last offer of yesterday's game I knew it had to be then. So it was semi-spoilt for me - so much so, I don't think I'm going to be reading any more threads which are to do with anyone's predictions, because it really does spoil it for me. Nothing wrong with speculation but you guys seem to be experts, and often get it right.

Indeed it was again by accident by seeing bits here and there. I heard a rumour ages ago about someone winning it and then heard it was fake so I was glad about that but I then heard another rumour about it and then I heard it was in the new year and then I saw Laura's name and while I didn't know she would get picked yesterday I had a strong feeling as Laura had been their a long time and the show was 10 minutes longer.

But I was watching and kept thinking is she or isn't she and despite the low final offer I still thought she might deal.

However it was indeed true and while took the initial shock factor away it was nice just to see someone win and to see how everyone would react and what would happen.

Of course, but only if you choose to read magazines/watch the news/read internet stories/speak to people who are going to tell you! I didn't know I was potentially reading a spoiler about Laura's game, if I did then I obviously wouldn't have read it.

Pretty much run of the mill stuff for normal folk I'd of thought to read magazines/watch the news/read internet stories/speak to people Froggy

I read about it in the Mirror a while back but thought it wasn't going to be on until later in the month. I wasn't sure it was Laura - thought it was between either her or Sarah.

Glad it was Laura though, nice to see a fellow Welsh person be the first to win the big one  even though she now lives in Gloucester
