Bushy's American Equivalent

Glad our bushy's on the right side of the tracks, but sounds like his American namesake could have done with 25 grand!

Aaron Bell, 19, was convicted in December of robbing a Kentucky Fried Chicken store in Philadelphia 12 months earlier. It was the same KFC where Bell had worked for the previous two years; he wore no mask or disguise, and all the employees recognized him. He might have learned in those two years that the store's safe is time-locked at 9 p.m., but he started the robbery at 9:15 and thus got no money. Nonetheless, Bell successfully hid from police for three days. On the third day, he decided to report for work at the KFC, acting as if nothing had happened. The manager called police.

What a gameshow CV that is! :shock:

I had no idea! Two vital shows missing though: Pat Sharp's Funhouse and The Interceptor!

Would have loved to do Fun House as a child!

It's mostly a story of near misses, to be honest, as I put on my application form!

The Weakest Link: voted off by the other 2 at the end
15-to-1: got last question of final right, but fractionally too late - might have made the last ever Grand Final
University Challenge (St John's Oxford): lost to Imperial College in a gripping final

But there have been some other highs (as well as DOND!!!):

The Waiting Game: an ex and I shared £17k (though that mostly went on rent as I was unemployed for a while - I had worked for Enron)
Playing For Time: a holiday to Marrakech
Memory Bank: £900 for a morning's work (the show was live!)

We didn't beat the Eggheads but then again you're not supposed to - we weren't allowed to have a couple of our original picks (Olav Bjortomt, who writes quizzes for the Guardian, and David Stainer, who won £64k on Millionaire) since they were too good.

A chunk of my winnings will go on an attempt at Millionaire...

I would have loved to have been on Funhouse, I hated them twins though, they made me glad im not blonde.

Now the show I would have loved to be on the most is Knightmare
