DOND question on ITV1's Viewer of the Year

Just spotted this question on ITV1's Viewer of the Year, which seems to be some sort of quiz about TV in 2006...

I must say, I'm stumped. Anyone know the answer?

If people have only ever watched the Christmas evening specials, then the answer is none of those 3 options!

They just asked another one!

"In Deal or No Deal, how many people have won the top prize?"

The contestant gave the correct answer of 'None'.

I wish they'd ask more complex stuff about it like "Who played on the 250th show". Nev of course.

on the subject of random DOND appearances, they had a clip of DOND in a small montage of 'this year's television' (or something similar).

Of all the short clips they could have shown they showed Noel opening Trevor's 1p box!

Odd choice there...

Apparently in Jam and Jerusalem tonight, someone said "I'd rather watch Deal or No Deal than watch this" - I'm not sure what the "this" was that they were referring to... I only had it on in the background.

Yeah they did.....think it was the panto they were all putting on, or something. And the Trevor clip was in "The Big Fat Quiz of the Year" the other night; it was just part of a montage of TV in 2006, there weren't any questions on it.

Yeah I saw that.... but the answer isn't none. It has been won, just hasn't been screened yet.

On a similar subject, my team leader at work was recently at a pub quiz and one of the question was "What are the top 5 values on the baord in DOND?" - he said he needed me to answer, as he put £250k, £100k, £50k, £20k and £10k. He said he was unsure about £75k, but he couldn't believe there was a £35k!

I bought a newspaper today and one of the questions in the 'Review of 2006' was 'How many boxes are used in a game of Deal or No Deal', my housemate said 25....
