Some of these I can think of are...

Best
1. Gaz ending up winning £100,000 after being faced with a weak board throughout his game.
2. Saj winning £50,000 after being faced with a two-box game with 1p and 50p late in her game.
3. Jennifer winning £120,000 after no dealing £52,000.

Worst
1. Donna totally breaking down in her game.
2. 1p Trevor picking the £250,000 just before the offer.
3. Ottis destroying the Power Five in 5 consecutive boxes by the end of Round 2.

The best moment in Deal or No Deal history is easily Gaz winning £100k. It's got everything - he takes out the £250k in the first box, and by the end of round 3, all he has over £1k is £10,000 and £100,000. Incredibly in the next three rounds he takes out everything under that (including the 1p right at the end), turns down £35,000...and, with everyone shouting his name, Noel opens the box, reveals £100,000, and Gaz gets completely mobbed. Absolute classic of a game, possibly even DOND perfection.

Runners up: The other two £100k+ games (Claudine and Jennifer), Brenda's incredible board, Peter from June's proveout.

Worst moment...well, Donna's was sad, but 1p Trevor's was absolutely heartbreaking. The complete opposite to Gaz as it seems to literally play out the worst scenario possible. A (very small) minority of people called him dim for turning down that £9,900 offer, but he actually says that the money simply isn't enough for his dream. He was FORCED to play on with an absolutely tiny offer, had it been just a few thousand more I'm sure he'd have definitely taken it. The £50 and 10p go...like Gaz, everyone's going crazy, he's having the perfect round at exactly the right time. But then came those three dreaded words all Sequencegate followers shudder at hearing to this day..."Number 1, Marilyn". Had he not picked her he'd have taken out the £250, had a final two of 1p and £250,000, dealt immediately, and revealed the 1p in his box, absolute DOND perfection. But no, the £250k went to possibly the biggest groan ever heard in the studio, and...well, let's just say that I haven't actually seen the rest of that episode since it was shown, I tried watching the youtube video but had to stop it just as Marilyn is about to open the box. I couldn't watch that pain again...but at least Trevor's gonna go to Australia next year, I'm glad he's finally gonna go there.

Just imagine if Donna's game had been like 1p Trevor's, and she was crying not because she could have won £250k, but because her dreams had just been shattered and she won 1p. That wouldn't have just been depressing viewing, it'd have been suicidal viewing.

Runners up: Barbara swapping away £100k and winning £1k, Howard's game completely collapsing after an £18,000 opening offer, and eventually winning £1, and any time when a really memorable contestant has a sucky game, like Geordie, Giorgio, and October Lisa.

If someone came up to me, said they'd never seen DOND before but wanted to see three episodes to see what it's all about, I'd show them, in this order, Gaz, Trevor, and David J. They show the three sides of Deal or No Deal - the happy, the sad, and the wacky, with the 'wacky' also being a huge OPW to cheer them up after Trevor's.

Urgh, I think Swappy Barbara has to be the worst moment for me...I think I could live with most of the other terrible games that have happened, but if I'd done that I would actually feel suicidal. And the way she was all up for it, shouting "I am calm! There won't be tears!", and then she nearly started crying saying "I gave it away...". And the crowd all cheered, before realising and screaming in horror...ew. I'm never watching that again. *goes to watch it again*

As for the best moment, I have, erm, 17 words for you: "Morris, we all think you're a fox; I hope there's something lovely for you in my box."

Best (that haven;t been mentioned yet):

Lynne winning £75k after turning down a offer with 99% of us would have dealt.

The £1 being revealed in Lance's game (and the previous blue to an extent, meaning absolute disaster was impossible).

The £500 being revealed in Kirsty's game, giving a perfect last three

JT's proveout after dealing what everyone thought was a rubbish offer

Melanie's proveout :D

Billy's proveout!

Worst (not mentioned yet)

1p being revealed in Fadil's box, when it would have been the best ending ever if he'd had £35k

Connell swapping £10k for 1p

£5 being revealed in 50 show Lucy's box

John G's ending

Jim swapping £20k for £250

Buzz's opening round (thankfully he still won a good amount!)

And £250,000 being revealed in the dodged box 9 in Dave Woollin's proveout - that was what I watched on Youtube to make me feel better after Donna's game (partially becuase he knew exactly what boxes to pick, as a sort of anti-Donna)! :-D

As well as what's been mentioned earlier in the thread,

Among The Worst: I think Sally's 1p game was heartbreaking, she didn't deserve that kind of luck. :(

Among The Best: Claudine not revealing 250K just before the 2 box stage then being offered £107,031 :D

Best And Worst Together: Raj (1) 's game winning just 10p, :( but Andy K agreeing to insure the no deal by standing Raj £200 so Raj could go for £500 :D and opening his final box to reveal 10p. :?

Best moments:

Gaz winning £100k, after the best turnaround ever.
All the comedy moments - especially Mad Sarah's game, Pat M's time on the wings, etc.
Lance winning so much money and also all the comedic references in his game - Noel on the phone and the fart machine.
The 1st anniversary show (29/10/06).

Worst moments:

Seeing DOND legends not winning much - e.g. Pat M and Stevie, who won £1,000 and £1,300, respectively.
All the 1p winners, but especially Fadil, Trevor, Sally, Giorgio and Connell.
That moment when Morris thought he had got the £250k, then realised he hadn't - the look on his face summed it up, really.

Best
Kirsty being left with the 3 biggest.
Claudine dealing at over 100k.

Worst
Donna's game. It was very sad plus I thought I was watching the breakup of a relationship on national T.V.

Yes, I must admit that that did make for slightly uncomfortable viewing - but I have been assured by an ex-contestant that they are still together and are very much in love!

Best moment: Lynne and Gaz.

Worst moment: Swappy Barbara's loss and Pat M winning a grand.

Oh and James, the £500 was revealed in Kirsty's game, then the £3,000 did, leaving the perfect three.

When the £100k was revealed at the end of Gaz's game was a moment that I think could only be beaten by a £250k (or even £500k!) win. Particularly as it had been such a disastrous start and still looked like being a trainwreck at the second break.

Saj's game came close though, the first huge money no-deal to the end and also after a bad start, and when that 1p was revealed with 3 boxes left, I remember Noel banging the chair on the floor in the middle of the studio with Aaron and a few others going absolutely crazy in the background.

Worst moments - Trevor of course when Marilyn revealed the £250k. Those two horrible £250k proveouts recently with Ingerlise and Donna, and Barbara, Matt and Jim's nightmare swaps. And any time a really entertaining/popular contestant just has an absolutely crap game which they don't deserve when they get in the chair - Geordie, Lucy, Giorgio, Tingler John, Scottish John, £100 Lisa etc.

(By the way, I'm amazed Wakey didn't nominate the third-offer OPW's as the worst moment...)

I had loads of other ones, but they were the worst.

Of course, every game that scored an OPW by taking the third offer was the worst moment ever as well.

Actually one of the worst moments was when Liverpudlian Clare (show 149), having turned down an offer of 20K during a bright and bubbly game experienced a major crash taking out the 100K and 250K, and spoke to the banker in floods of tears as the offer was reduced to £1,500 at the 2 box stage. :(
