Are we ever likely to see a deal of over £100k again? Or more specifically, will we ever see one above Claudine's deal of £107,031? That offer was very large for the board she had - it would normally only be that high if there was at least £35k as backup. The higher the backup, the higher the offer... but the higher the backup, the more likely a no deal is.

If and when the £250k ever gets won, will the banker's tactics on a something vs. £250k offer change, as there has already been a £250k win?

Assuming the £250k does eventually get won, will the player deal as there has already been a £250k win? Or will the player feel more confident to no deal a, for example, £170k offer with the Power 2 left on the board?

Yes, we will see 100K deals again I believe. I think that we might not see one for a while however. Assuming that Endemol want to see their first jackpot winner then we could expect to see lower offers when the 250K and another number are present. Anytime the 250K is supported by anything 20K and above you can reasonably expect to see an offer of 100K or more, and the contestant will deal if the drop is too far. Claudine stood to lose £97,031 if she had no dealt in yesterday's show. Once the 250K is won, I think we can expect to see offers from the banker that are fairer, more contestants dealing, and more 100K + deals. That is only a personal viewpoint, and I could be wrong. It might be that when someone wins the 250K that there is more expectation on contestants to gamble for the jackpot, I hope so because that would be more entertaining! :D

Yes. However not very often as to get to the final offer with the £250,000 in play is hard but to have a decent back-up is also rare. It also depends on the player as well. I think that the banker knew he'd have to offer Claudine a lot of money after she turned down £44k. Perhaps he could of offered less and she may of went with something under 100k. The only way is if players take a gamble till the end that we will see them kind of offers.

Before yesterday's game, I'd have said "No, probably not"....so I guess there's no reason why there shouldn't be another!

Yes, I am sure we will see one over Christmas, not a spoiler just assuming with the 500k games we might get a big winner

I think we'll see more 6 figure deals like Claudine's, but not one higher than Jennifer's deal!

I think we might even see someone deal on £100k/£250k final pair one day, especially if the £250k has been won and there is no longer the incentive of being the first to win it.

Lance decided not to risk £12k on a virtual even money coin-flip with £75k guaranteed, so it's even more likely someone would do that if they were gambling £70-£75k to get the big prize. Even knowing they couldn't go away with less than £100,000.

In spite of Claudine's game providing a strong counter-example to what seemed an unstoppable trend of Endemol crying out for a £250k win (if they really wanted it, Claudine would have been offered less than £80k), I still reckon that's the last six-figure Deal we'll ever see on a £250,000 board.

But that's partly because I reckon that within a few months of the first £250,000 win the game will make a permanent switch to £500,000, or at least there will be regular £500,000 games (most likely on Friday nights, the Friday 8pm slot is proving disastrous for Channel 4 right now). The next six-figure Deal will be in a £500,000 game, I reckon.

Pack it in you two, this is not a "slate each other" thread. If you want to continue arguing, go someone else and do it.

EDIT: Well you could have deleted this post as well because now it looks like I'm a right *beep*.
