well as ive posted im due on soon,,,,so please be nice,,,ill be reading,,,tho be after the day i play, cos will be getting very drunk.

Ned is a bit of a legend even before his time in the chair which is the sign of a true DOND favourite.

I don't think of him as a statistician as such, certainly not in comparison to some of the members on here, but he's proved himself to be a hell of a good reader of the game so let's hope he can continue this into his show (which must be sometime soon...)

I've looked forward to your game even before your first appearance on the wings, thanks to the Glenn Hugill interview where he mentions you. Certainly you've set records on your longetivity as being the first male to legitimately span three months on the show, hard to believe that it was October when you joined. Can't wait for your game, is definitely going to be a keeper!

I think this thread needs bumping back up to the top of the forum now that Ned's played his game!

Well done Ned!

This is what I said in the today's show thread for your game:

An amazing game in terms of how unique it was - all those offers to double the offers if Ned predicted them right; the swap mid-game; and the offers after every box at the end of the game (which is like USA DOND) - all in all, a very unique game - well done Ned for not letting all the new stuff get to you - £15k was a very wise deal, as it would have been risky to go on.

Personally, I hope this doesn't become a regular thing - I think the "guessing what the offer is, and if the player gets it right, the offer will be doubled" stuff is quite harmless, and has actually happened before (with Simon, back in May 2006), but I'm not sure about changing how many boxes are opened before the banker makes his offer.

I often wondered if we'd ever see a non-monetary offer at a later stage than round 1, and it finally happened! :shock:

Again, well done Ned, really enjoyed the game!
