I would pick Thanh's, it seems the most logical.

None...they're all as irrelevant as each other. Not that I want to start another debate about that, though. ;)

I'll go for Elizabeth and Mandy's as it was the most entertaining...you can't go wrong with Uncle Bert.

Why haven't you put Geordie's in? I know his game was a complete disaster, but why not?

If I ever got on the show, I would have used Franks systemas the idea hadnt been done before. In my opinion systems add something else to the game and make it a bit more intresting.

Who used the system where they did a round of prime numbers, a round of square numbers, a round of multiples of 3 etc....

I liked that one and if I were to use a system, I'd use a similar one to that.

I would say it is irrelevant what system you use as its random, however I think it is good to have a system as it will make you look more decisive and confident which can occasionally help you get better offers from the banker. There is nothing much worse than deliberating too long over box selection, changing your mind, and the "cardinal sin" of picking too many boxes in a round which usually gets Noel screaming! :D That can be avoided with a system written down in advance. I don't think it's usually a good idea either to jettison a system if things start to go wrong. That again doesn't create a good impression.

I liked Gavin's system where he went up in two's and back down in two's.

Systems don't change the odds. That said, I would say the best system is one where the exact order of every selection is determined before the start, as this legitimises the proveout.

Colour-cluster is an accurate observation, Thanh's mistake was trying to use it as a system. Having said that, we wouldn't have called it a mistake if the last gamble had paid off!

If I was on DOND, I would know every box I wanted to pick in order. I'm not really supestitious but I would prefer knowing I would have done the same in the proove-out and also to have a small reason for picking the boxes I did.

I would probably base it off different sereis, so maybe the first round might be fibonnaci and would be:

11,2,3,5,8

Then next round maybe triangle numbers:

6,10,15

Then squarenumbers

1,4,9

e.t.c.

It is totally based on chance. All the system theories are silly as if it could be worked out someone would have done it by now or even for the lottery.

Personally I think the Elizabeth and Mandy list way is most 'sensible' as if you have a list then others can not sway you with their silly 'feelings' about boxes. It also makes it more realistic when someone has dealt and has to carry on. You can never know what you would have choosen 100% if you don;t have a concrete list.
