Each time a contestant challenges the winner of the previous poll we will have to have a new poll. Just like a boxing contest, Gaz, the very worthy Champion, and poll winner of Sunday's final, will be challenged today by the Challenger, Lynne. If you haven't seen today's game Lynne no dealt an offer of £22,076 with £75,000 and just 10p left, a lifechanging money or peanuts scenario. Gaz no dealt a £35,000 offer with £100,000 and some insurance of £10,000 left. Whoever wins this contest may be challenged by someone again, especially if they win the £250,000 with not much insurance at the two box stage! :D This poll will run for 1 day only!

Definitely Lynne...she had bugger all fallback at the final two, and turned down some substantial offers earlier on in the game. Gaz didn't really have much of a decision to make until the very end, and even then he had a £10k back-up preventing a total disaster.

Gaz wasn't that courageous as all the offers were crap and at the last offer, he had a fall back of £10,000, whcih Lynne didn't have. She had an even worse start , and she turned down some great offers so Lynne is by far and away the most courageous.

Lynne, because Gaz had a red/red final two.

Lynne for the reasons already given.

The two games that could be compared to this in terms of the two box stage are Hilary and Simone's. They both reached the final of our poll last week, but look at the stats:

April 28th Hilary £50,000 and £5 left and an offer of £15,000: no deal
May 29th Simone £75,000 and £1 left and an offer of £15,500: no deal

So Lynne actually had a bigger offer in £22,076 turned down, and just 10p if it had all gone wrong. Not much difference, but Lynne edges it for me over them and Gaz, although Trevor (1p) had no significant insurance at the 5 box stage when the 250K was still there and only a 40% rather than 50% chance of keeping it in play which is why I voted for him last week.

Both games absolutely rocked and were brilliant, but while Gaz had a £10,000 fallback, Lynne had 10p as her other box. Her offer of £22,076 was also way more than Simone's £15,500 (with £1 and £75,000), and it was the highest offer all game...so to turn that down took *incredible* bravery. So glad it worked out for her.

My vote definitely goes to Lynne!

Simone didn't have a great offer, though.

Yeah, but Lynne's offer was ok...in a way, her offer could have been taken as a compliment. For Simone the Banker actually dropped his offer by £10,000, for Lynne he gave her the biggest offer he'd offered all game.

I voted for Jennifer in the original poll, who also had 10p in her final five, but Lynne comes pretty darn close with her game.

I think Gaz is only classed as courageous because the first box he picked was £250,000.

Yeah, he didn't really have a decision to make until the final pair... still a big gamble, but there have been riskier ones with no safety net.

I'd probably have put a few above him even before today's show, like Jennifer, Khanny, Morris, Hilary, perhaps Fadil. Even though the revealing of that £100,000 was perhaps the best moment on the show to date.

It probably was, Power5. Morris and Khanny were certainly courageous, as well. But, Fadil got quite a bad offer, and Jennifer got a very high offer.

I voted for Lynne. She had no 'fallback' amount and showed a great deal of courage to No Deal at the final offer. Gaz had the security of £10,000 at least.

I'll just have to hope I get a chance to see the flipping game now...

...In what way? Because 10p and a Power Five amount were left at the end? :?

Without a doubt Lynne, mainly down to Gaz's red/red final two, while it truly was all or peanuts for Lynne.

Personally, I don't feel Gaz was the most 'courageous' contestant anyway.

It looks very much like Lynne has usurped Gaz's crown as
The Most Courageous Contestant in the history of
Deal Or No Deal so far!

(With thanks to Kestral for these pictures which originated in his posting in Lynne's game in "Todays Show" thread)
