From Monday 3rd September DOND well be on at 4:40 in between A Place in the sun and Come Dine with Me. This is because of the two week gap between R&J going and Paul O G coming back.

Is this just going to be for the two weeks? I kind of like it at 4.15.

They always seem to change the time in either early September (it was 4:45pm for two weeks last year) and Christmas, it's becoming a bit of a tradition.

I'll still watch it at whatever time, though!

That will make the repeat showings on +1 and More4 clash!

Once again, it's C4 being crafty by ensuring that they won't lose viewers to ITV in the 5pm slot... they could've easily done it like this:

4:15 - DOND, 5:00 - A Place In The Sun, 5:30 - Come Dine With Me

But they know that without POG or R&J on at 5pm, people are likely to switch to ITV than watch APITS and CDWM... therefore, by putting DOND on at 4:40, and the filler programmes either side of DOND, it means that DOND will be on until 5:25, and DOND has higher ratings than APITS or CDWM... so their 5pm slot is safe with DOND until POG returns.

This happened last year as POG had suffered a heart attack and was still recovering and couldn't come back when planned... not sure why there's a gap in between R&J and POG coming back this year though.

So I take it with Paul O'Grady scheduled for 5.00pm, Deal or No Deal is moving back to 4.15pm from next Monday?

EDIT: Just checked: new TV magazines confirm a 4.15pm start from next week.
