They say you only get one go in the chair - but I believe it's been done in other countries, where some of the show's least successful players get another chance.

So if they ever did second chance games here, who would you like to see come back and win much bigger?

It has to be Barbara. She was so unlucky to go away with £1.

I'd love to see a 100% Geordie have another go.

It was a tough one to call, that, but after some deliberation I chose Irene. She was really funny and such a nice person and had hideous bad luck. It would be great to see her have another go.

:D

I would coose Trevor, purly because he said he wanted to go and see his brother in Australia, who he hasn't seen in years.

He also turned down more than enough money to do so, I know it was a mean offer at the end with the £250k left but given his situation and ambitions he really should have dealt.

I didn't see the very early ones, but Geordie was the first memorable character of my time watching the show and there was no justice in how his game turned out after what he brought to the show and his unfortunate experience towards the end of his stay. Also have only seen the end bit of Nick's show as posted on youtube, but for the spirit he showed despite his incredible run of bad luck he deserves another shot at it.

I chose Nick because he was the first DOND I ever saw and it was heartbreaking to see him go away with the 1p plus he was so funny and took it so well at the end I'd love to see him get another go...

Great thread

Caz xx

I didn't see half of these people's shows, but out of the ones I did see, Trevor, Barbara, and Geordie all seemed to have a combination of terrible luck and terrible offers, so I'd go for one of them. John had a great offer which I still can't understand why he turned down (although it was brave and it did make for an entertaining show), and Mike annoyed me a bit too much!

It's got to be Raj, he was the last of the original players and came across really well. He was brave and played it to the end because the Banker didn't take him seriously. When he got the 10p i was gutted.

Trevor, because he never got a sensible offer. (And to this day I believe the Banker knew he had the penny in his box. Don't forget this show was one of the sequence episodes.)

Geordie, because he was a victim of horrible treatment - and not just from the Banker either.

If we were to make it a special themed week, I'd complete it with Irene, Nick, Raj and Barbara.

Would be an interesting week - who would do the box opening though?

If Lucy ends up with a penny maybe she could come back and open boxes for another 50 "second chance" games before playing again

If Lucy was to do that they'll probably start charging her rent!

Jim R. Our tv room at Uni wept as we watched his game quickly turn bad. His showmanship was genius and he was ballsy to boot. He quickly became a cult hero in his time there and we still want contestants to ask his sound advice.

'Mon Jim.

Here Here Steve, I sad alongside you in the TV room that night of raw emotion where strangers embraced, cheered and whooped. Jim R, that loyal son of Dundee, should be given a second chance because i truely believe we will never see his like again.
