Just found this:

The first seven letters of "Noel Edmonds" anagram into "Endemol", the production company's name.

The first six letters anagram to "NO DEEL".

Noel's surname, "Edmonds" contains the letters DOND (Deal Or No Deal) in order.

Yes i've known about this. This played a factor i believe in choosing Noel for DOND.

I bought that as a T Shirt off ebay and took it down with me to Bristol and good old Mr Edmonds signed it for me...he loved it. It Said Under Cheggers name "Banker"
