The Interview

I was just on the phone with Josh from the show, and he has invited me to an interview in November. Quite a funny story, really. I almost didn't answer, and then when I did, I was so excited I hung up on him :oops:

Not the most graceful start, but we had a laugh about it.

Now obviously I'm not looking for hints or tips to give me an unfair advantage, but since I can't get my mind off this a hearty discussion about it is what I think I need.

How did your interview go? What sorts of questions were you asked? How nerve-racking was it and did you have to play silly games like at job interviews? Are there any people on here who didn't pass the interview?

Hi Martin,

I had a phonecall the other day too from a lovely lady at Endemol, inviting me to an audition next month. I totally understand why you were so taken aback as to want to hang up! I was shocked, to say the least and pretty much made a fool of myself down the phone, but luckily for me she found it amusing :oops:

I myself am trying to avoid finding too much about the auditioning process as I want to go not knowing what to expect! I don't know if this is the right approach however, but yeah

Good luck to both of you. Relax. be yourself. Enjoy the experience. You'll possibly have to do something a little silly like charades. You'll almost definitely have to do a few minutes direct to camera video. Don't go OTT but be original, amusing and interesting. Think positively and good things will come of it. Cosmic ordering is definitely the order of the day. All the best.

I believe in the cosmos and order. And that we can influence our destiny. I'm not yet in a position to say whether cosmic ordering works.

Isent the form off in August, and I think they're phoning people up by region... so this week was the North. Hopefully they'll be doing the SouthEast soon, and I'll get the call!
