One of the great mysteries of the promotion of DOND on line is of course the question of how many Endemol staff are regulars on line and feeding information to the fans via these websites to keep interest in the show high.

Who for example pays for the upkeep of these sites? How much do they cost to run?

Who has the time during a normal working life to create mega sites or post 10,000 plus times if it isnt their job?

Which normal fan has access to the steady stream of behind the scenes info that some of our regular posters have. You either have to work in Bristol at the Paintworks or know someone who does work there to get access to the really hot gossip

Yes I think there has to be someone somewhere going around all these websites. The Photo gallery had to be taken off this site beacuse emdemol said something about it so yes there are staff going around trawling through these forums to see if they can take action on something.

If they were on the forums then I think that the pictures of contestants shows wouldn't be online. I think Endemol would have asked for them taken off.

I can help with a couple of the questions that relate to this site.

I pay for the upkeep and running of this site out of my own pocket. It's costs roughly £100 a year at the moment to keep the site online, that covers the web-hosting fees and domain name registration.

I do know some of the production staff at Bristol have visited the site in the past as I have had contact with them and they have said how impressed they were with the site and the interest that everyone shows in the show, they didn't reveal if they posted or were members of the site though.....

I am able to work from home which allows me to spend time on the site keeping it up to date, monitoring forums, updating stats, commentaries. Although I do probably spend too much time on the site

We do have a large number of contestants both past, present and future who visit and post here, there are also members of the public who go to the show recordings. Both of these sources provide much of the behind the scenes information, although as you say it wouldn't be surprising if there are some Endemol staff who do post to either get our views on the show or perhaps feed some gossip.

Past contestants and audience members are the main source of information for my filming dates table. :D .

For what it is worth, how much traffic does your site generate on an average month?

£100 - well at least it's a blue ;)

Seriously though, I'm sure everyone here appreciates the time and money you put in to keep this site running smoothly. I guess things like advertising/sponsorship can reduce the costs as well?
