Well, that interview was in June, so I think it's now pretty obviously *beep*. Certainly got people talking, though...

Definately no true I am afraid. Audrey's 2nd game was my show. She was not feeling well during filming and went home the next day (which was a Friday). she was told that she could come back after the weekend if she felt better but for whatever reason, chose not to. i can confirm this was an absolute, definate illness.

Come on everyone, we all know Noel likes a good mystery... the symbols on his hand, etc. - he was just messing when he said that 2 people have already won the £250k in the interview.

Like when a forum member (can't remember who) went to see DOND being recorded and when they were there, they asked Noel about the symbols on his hand and Noel apparently replied, in a serious manner, "I don't know what you're talking about. I think you need to have a lie down".

We also know Noel looks at these forums, and so was probably aware that we are aware that 2 people didn't get a chance to play... further making the joke funnier.

He must have been laughing his head off when he came on here after the interview was broadcast to read everyone's speculation about what he said (although I said at the time on the forums, as did some other members, that I thought he was joking...)

It's a good thing that what Noel said is obviously not true. Would we really want to have £250k winners not have their games shown?

he was winding people up because in the same interview he said the £250,000 has been at the table 8 or 9 times, if it had been won, it would have had to been up at least 10 times.

Mind you, as we very well know, Noel often gets his stats wrong... or rather, the stats man gets them wrong, who then tells to Noel to read.

I think 2 ppl may have won £250,000. They were probably testing the format before the show started. This would make the story of the 2 £250,000 winners, and them not being shown 100% true.

If they weren't playing for real money, they probably just no dealt to the end and won it!
