I can't wait until Sunday for Deal or No Deal's first birthday. With people having such large sums of money in their boxes this week, I can't help but feel that it is all building up to us seeing our fist quarter of a millionarie on Sunday.

Just ignore the cries of 'fix'. I'm gullable enough to believe it :D

Not very likely though. The chances must be what, 1 in 22? Maybe a bit less.

There is an interview with the banker in TV Times!

It would be funny if the contestant won 1p, Noel would say something like "And it's pocket change for you today!" Don't think the winning viewer would be pleased....

Well according to reports from someone who attended a recording recently, (spoiler)I think it's fairly certain that the player doesn't win either £250,000 or 1p.

I have to admit, if it is £250k in the box Sunday, it will turn me away a bit.

http://www.dond.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4181 - That also was suspecious to me and if £250,000 is around on Sunday on the pound table, I may switch off.

Especially if they phoned in to enter and spent a £1 to win 1p
