Noel impression - Bremner, Bird and Fortune tonight, C4

Noel and DOND is apparently being impersonated on Bremner, Bird and Fortune, tonight at 8:30pm on C4.

As good as they are, I think Jon Culshaw's impression of Noel shows Noel as being too serious... whereas Rory Bremner's is too jolly! Mix the two and you'd get Noel!

Mmm... well, having seen Rory Bremner's Noel impression tonight... it's fairly good, but he seems to overdo Noel's "wobbling" voice, and ends up making his voice sound like that of a teenage boy... like me, I suppose... and most of us on this forum! :oops:

Haha, but yes, he seems to have Noel being too jolly and silly... when actually Noel is serious quite often during the show!

That sketch tonight was crap, it was nothing like Noel and they couldn't even set it up so it looks like the studio. Jon Culshaw's impressions are much better compared to that...

Jon Culshaw's impression is way better, I have to say. And the set on Dead Ringers is more accurate, but I suppose DR has a bigger budget!

I think both the impressions are pretty rubbish...they say the right things and have the right mannerisms but neither of them look or sound anything like him!

Jon Culshaw sounds a bit like him... and looks slightly like him with the stick-on beard... but Rory Bremner doesn't look or sound like him!
