Would you swap or no swap at the first offer?

If the banker offered you a swap instead of money for the first offer would you take it or stick with what you've got?

I'd be tempted but then i'd always be wondering what if I had or what if I hadn't swapped etc wondering if I had made the right choice. I'd most probably not swap in the end as i'd rather not give away a big value box (if I was that lucky to have a big value in the first place)

If I had a number I didn't like, (8, 9, 18, 19) I'd swap it.
If I had one I liked (1, 6, 7, 16, 17) I wouldn't.
I don't know what I'd do if I had any other number.

I would no swap, what box you bring with you to the table is destined to be the box you play with whether you like the number on it or not.

Always swap! Since I'm a big believer in conspiracy theories and although the boxes are allocated randomly, I do sometimes think there is more chance of you getting a low number in the box you are assigned!! So I would swap.

However if I was on the game I'm sure I'd feel differently...argh so hard to say unless you've been on the show.

I kind of think that too, though...it's totally at odds with the rest of my personality, but I do like to believe in fate and destiny. So whatever you end up with is what you were meant to have!

If I'd have been the contestant instead of Paul earlier this month, and I'd have received a swap, I'd have swapped for Michaela's as I believed she'd have the £250k for the fourth show in a row.

That sounds easy to say in hindsight, but I would actually have done it.

But hmm...I suppose it'd depend on something like that whether I'd swap. If I considered the number on my box to be lucky, I wouldn't swap. The scary bit would be when you picked the box you've just swapped...if it were £250,000, I could seriously imagine the Banker throwing tactics out the window and just offering 1p for the next two offers.
