Has anyone got the background music that used to be played in the early days of DOND, when the player was choosing the boxes? The music back then was much more tense in my opinion, and I really liked it for some reason! :D

I think that is a version of the music they use nowadays... the old music had a sound effect every 20 seconds that sounded like somone scraping metal... nowadays there's a sound effect but it's slightly different... it sounds a bit like a cat miaowing down a drainpipe!

The voice at the end is just Jennifer. You really have to turn your sound up properly to hear the "effect" H described.

Ahh...I like that music so much, i don't know why. It's just so atmospheric. The background tone is also slightly quieter and higher (I think) than it is nowadays. Thanks for that clip, Wakey, I preferred the scraping metal noise...it's more atmospheric than the cat miaowing down the drainpipe we get nowadays... anyone got a clip of what we have nowadays so people know what I'm on about?

Just as Dave W says "You're the Queen of the show" you can hear it. Again, I suggest you turn your speakers up!

Right, thannks, they seem to be using the same drone, but they've made it louder and the scraping metal has been replaced by the cat.

If something bad, dramatic, or tenseful happened, they would put on some Japanese piano style music. You could clearly hear it on one of the very first shows, take Lynn's when the £250,000 went.

Is there a clip of that? Sorry, I should've recorded the early shows... I knew I should've done! And by the way, the drone in the box opening shows was also slightly higher back in the early days, so it is different to nowadays. Ooh... and is there a clip of the sad music they use nowadays?

Sorry for all these requests.
