Next week the chance to win £20,000 makes me want to enter the viewers contest, but has anyone here ever entered or won it?

I do it on the Channel 4 site quite often, seeing as "Not all calls will be successful, but all calls will be charged". Ripoff.
Never won it though. :(

it costs too much to enter and it does not let me enter over the internet. i probably won't enter next week because i think the chance of me winning the top prize is quite slim. as you say, it's a ripoff. :)

I have tried to enter via the internet, as you're right, the phone charge is a rip-off. However, the site specifies that you must enter a valid number, and I ditched my landline last year and now only use my mobile so I couldn't enter.

I enter every day via the web and manage to get on average 4 entries, still not won yet, but hasn't cost a penny though...

You can enter the web from around 2:30pm onwards so I get all my entries in b4 the show starts...then wait to see my name in lights !!

The web does work, but you may have problems if you have a firewall and such like which rejects your security. As for the phone, just use your mobile, it doesn't care what...or a friends, its only for letting you know you have won..

Good luck..

ps: see my other post regarding how to repeat the entry without entering all of your details again and again...

It's the £20,000 viewers day today, so remember to get your web entries in

As padmaster says you can start entering from 2:30, I've just put a few through

They are going through quite quickly at the moment, so well worth doing before the show starts as it will probably get hammered then.

I've been entering the competition on every show since late Nov/early Dec. Each time entering the max number of entries. Still not won yet. As I mentioned on the other thread the "shortlist" must be at least 300,000 I reakon, giving very little chance of being picked out of that lot. But I'm not giving up, I shall keep playing.

No, I haven't won the viewer's competition. But just mentioning again, that it seems about 90%+ of the winners seem to be based up north i.e. Halifax, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Widnes, Edinburgh, etc, etc. Very few winners are Southerners it seems. Why is it pretty much all northerners that are winning?? I'm sure I can't be the only one to have noticed this. Something not quite right there. Am not impressed atall. Though I shall plod on and keep entering 30 times 6 days a week.

It's not costing me a penny a week. I'm entering via the free online method. I wouldn't even enter via the phone once, it's just not worth it.
