As you may know, there are four amounts on the DOND gameboard that have yet to be won by a contestant no dealing all the way to the end. These are 50p, £50, £750 and £250,000. There have been times where the player has had a 50/50 chance of going away with these amounts (i.e. when they've rejected every offer and one of these amounts has been in the final two):

50p:

Ann (£250) *
Tan (£5)
Raj (£1)
Becca (£1,000) *
Janelle (£5,000) *

£50:

Gabrielle (£1,000) *
Pat M (£1,000)

£750:

Maxine (£10,000)
Carlton (£10)

£250,000:

Kirsty (£75,000)
Morris (£20,000)

* indicates that the player had this amount in their box but swapped, and thus won a higher amount.

If anyone knows of any occasions from the first couple of months of the show where the player has had a 50/50 chance of going away with one of these amounts, feel free to add them in.

Perhaps the most surprising time when it looked like one of these sums was going to be won was when Jason dealt for £300 with £750 (his box) and 1p in play.

Pretty useless trivia, I know, but it's quite interesting to see who's came closest to winning the amounts that just won't be won.

Also, Sally could have won 50p but won 1p instead.

Amazing how close we've been to having a 50p winner so often!

Actually, I don't....I just feel a bit guilty. When someone does win 50p, it'll be ALL MY FAULT.

Well, you said,"Do you man 50p"! I've probably made a typo here too... we're all tired, quite obviously! :smt015
