Just wondering what people would rather do. Deal too early or too late. Now sure if you deal to early you're bound to get some decent money however you could have a great board and feel the need to risk it so for example. Would you feel more gutted at not risking it or for dealing too early?

You were offered around £25k and still had the £250k + £50k and a few low reds and blues. Would you rather deal and take the money offered or risk it and go on. How would you feel if you had dealt at £25k and got to the end and you had the £250k in your box or that you no dealed at the £25k and went home with like £100.

Now of course there's all sorts of different scenarios that could happen which could influence your choice.

From a winning money point of view, I'd much rather deal too early... If I had a really strong board, an offer would only tempt me to deal if it was above £20k.

And all this "oh, look, you had £250k in your box" is all very well, but the contestant is very unlikely to win it anyway unless they're a serious gambler, because nearly everyone would deal at the last offer... especially if you had a blue / low red left with the £250k still in play, too risky to gamble, in my opinion!

Too early, definitely. Especially with the way the offers are now. If you have a big number in your box, it obviously has to be in play, and unless you have a situation like Debbie's you're probably going to get a very nice sum of money offered, sometimes as early as the second offer.

Defo to early I would want to come away with plenty of money and the 3rd offers lately have been around the £18,000 mark, that frankly would be enough for me anyway. The only way I would go on is if I had obliterated the blues and was left with a mainly red board from 15,000 down then I may be tempted to give it one more go

I mean if I got to the 4th of 5th offer, and it was good, I would deal. But I wouldnt deal really early.

I've just realised that I sounded really greedy by saying that if I had a really good board, I'd only deal if the offer was above £20k.

What I meant was, if I had a really strong board, and the Banker offered say £12k when he should offer £22k, I'd be tempted to go on, because chances are, with such a low offer, if I had a bad round, the offer would only drop from £12k to £8k, and I'd probably deal at that, assuming my board had become decimated. But if I had a good round, the banker should go up to what he should be at - i.e. about £30k, and then I'd definitely deal at that.

But, as soon as the offers got above £15k in any stage of the game and with any board, I'd be very tempted to deal, no matter what the stage of the game was. If I had a very bad game, I'd probably cut my losses and deal at a few thousand.

I know I would deal too early. And I don't care. :-D If I was offered anything above £10K I'd be half-way out the door, and as soon as it got to £20K you wouldn't see me for dust! :D

That's the trouble is that each game offers different amounts and offers that really just depends on how lucky you've been with the board and offers. If you've been having a bad game and you were offered £5,000 you might take that but then at the end get offered £25,000 due to the fact you recovered and got rid of all the small numbers. It's all just down to luck.

However if I was offered something in the region of £20,000 I would have to think about it. But again until i'm put in that situation (which I won't be) I really wouldn't know what to do.
