This may be a stupid question but I was just wondering if all the players from Saturday will continue after the summer break?

Well, they will unless any of them were taken ill in the couple of hours between filming Saturday's show and filming August 28th's...

(Edit: Apart from Giorgio, of course, but you probably guessed that!)

It's highly likely that Joesph will replace Giorgio then, daniel will not be pleased...

the break in filming was probably only a few hours, like usual, so the qua;ity will probably be quite bad the first few shows too.

Like Tom Hanks and his football on that island in 'Cast Away', it looks like it's just me and the bots here now. But that's alright, we're having a grand old time. Aren't we, Wilson? WILSOOOON?!

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

There may be more of a problem when they actually have a break in filming, after "Series 2" in recording terms ends (mid-November on screen I think?)

I believe all episodes up to this date have been filmed already but they don't start filming again until about October. So it's possible a few of the waiting contestants at that time won't be able to make it back, though hopefully if that's the case they will be invited to rejoin the show when it's convenient for them.

What's having a few hours break got to do with the quality? :?

I believe Steph said Joseph doesn't return until shortly after her game, so probably a couple of weeks after it comes back. I guess Khanny who is in his position at the moment may also play around that time, so he could yet go back to his old place!

well, they'll probably store all the recordings, and then in August when they take them all out again, they could be slightly blurred or something like that??

Why would they be blurred? Films and TV programmes are shot months, sometimes a year in advance and put on a shelf until they get funding, licenses etc... They are blurred or have a crap picture, why would DOND be any different?

I doubt they'd broadcast a show that is poor in quality.

Perhaps Blobby drops a bucket of gunge on the film?

It'll certainly be really, really bizarre to watch. Noel saying "Welcome to our second season of Deal or No Deal!" and asking the contestants and audience if they've had a good Summer, etc...when, in fact, it's still early May and Georgio's game was only a few hours ago!

Regarding the blurred stuff, no. Yes, old TV shows look older than new shows, but that's because they used older cameras or videotape. Deal or No Deal's always been recorded on Digital Betacam, so picture quality wise, episode 1 looks exactly the same as episode 200.
