Who started the phrase 'The Phonebox'?

The first person I remember saying it on the show was Linda, when she said "Don't join Faddy in that phonebox" to John - and then revealed the 1p, spookily.

Linda Number 2, I think - she replaced Marilyn in the position where Buddy stands now, played in April, had a rubbish start, dealt for £24k and had £50k in her box.

The phonebox phrase came from Noel saying the 1p club was such an exclusive club that they could hold their meetings in a phonebox (it only had 2 or 3 members at the time). Eventually the "four men in a phonebox" etc. became one of the catchphrases of the show.

The phone box will have to be upgraded to something bigger now that there are five people in it. Perhaps it could be upgraded to a dinghy, seeing as though Sally does boating!!! :-D

I believe the world record for people in a phone-box is still currently fourteen, so there is still a fair bit of room, even accounting for the latest guy to join yesterday, Connell.

There's a news article here, but this was 2003, so maybe someone has since beaten the record! :-D
