I was amazed after such a positive start Candice turned down £32k but accepted £19k today (March 8th) with clearly one more deal in place.
I really expected her to continue right on to the end.
Did you?

I too expected Candice go at least one more round. The board was quite alright at the time and I was surprised when she dealt when she did- especially after turning down the £32,000. Maybe the BIG prize going rattled her more than we thought.

It was an amazing game too; quite often we see contestants attracted to picking all the reds off first, but Candice got shut of most of the blues. I truly expected her to go for one more round.

:D

I was very surprised, thought that was the easiest no deal she had since the 1st or 2nd offer!

3 of the 5 amounts remaining were bigger than the offer, keeping either £100k or £75k (70% chance) would have upped the offer significantly, only a 10% chance of disaster (and still would have ended up with a four-figure offer even in that scenario, with no "loose change" blues left.) And a 10% chance of keeping the big two in play and at least matching Germaine's win from yesterday.
