Hello h2005 What was it like to meet Noel? I have an autograph of Noel that he sent me I'd still love to meet him in real life though I hope he does stay active on TV i've missed him

It was great meeting him but also a bit nerve-wracking at first. However I quickly settled in and spoke to him like I would with anyone really.

Some other contestants remained a bit starstruck throughout though and were a bit nervous about what to say to him.

He also always wore very strong aftershave that you could smell even if he wasn't standing that close to you.

That's an interesting little nugget! I wonder if it's a generational thing - my grandad was born around the same time, and he also wore very strong aftershave that you could smell from a mile away...his preference was Joop, I wonder what Noel went for!
