I was just thinking about people's attitude to the 1p club, I get the impression that if they were to win "blue" money, they'd rather have 1p than anything else (Sally and Ashok were prime examples of this!).

If I was in the situation of having 1p and another box as the last two, I thinking I'd do the following:

1p v another low blue: deal for the comedy offer, I'd rather be remembered for that!

1p v a high blue: not sure - I'd deal if the offer sounded funny (such as Helen's £206 or Trevor's £99), no-deal if it was a round number!

1p v a low-mid red: Judging by Connell's, Sharron's and Fadil's insulting offers, no deal. I'd risk losing the small 4-figure sum for the 50:50 chance of winning the higher amount, which would do a lot for me. Actually Fadil's offer of £7.2k is borderline, but the other two definite no-deals

1p v a high red: not seen this happen in active play at all, so can't judge the offers, but I'd likely deal, as the offer would be too great to risk losing all of it. I'm thinking about 20-25% of the higher amount would seem about right, so in that situation deal. I couldn't stand losing a 5-figure sum!

1p v another low blue: I would probably deal for the comedy value as well.

1p v a high blue: It would depend on the offer, but probably no deal.

1p v a low-mid red: It would depend on the offer.

1p v a high red: Most probably deal, unless the offer was really insulting.

1p vs low blue - Deal, unless the other low blue were the 50p!

1p vs high blue - No Deal, and desperately pray for the 1p...I hate the high blues.

1p vs low red - Probably No Deal, assuming a crappy offer. I'd definitely have gambled Connell's £2k and Sharron's £3k.

1p vs high red - Probably Deal, unless the offer were really insulting. I'd have turned down Fadil's £7,200 (1p vs £35k), taken Debbie's £60k (hypothetical 1p vs £250k), and...I can't think of any other 1p/high red final twos.

1p v another low blue: Deal if the offer is 'Comedy' enough.

1p v a high blue: No deal because there is no point dealing for a value not likely to be under £20.

1p v a low-mid red: Definately, 100% no deal as the offer wouldn't be huge enough to even think about dealing.

1p v a high red: No deal, because its a 50% chance for a high red worth lots more then a middleish crappy offer. If the £250,000 was involved, I would no deal anything under £100K. And if anything else was involed, I would no deal because the offer isn't likely to be huge.
