3D boxes - for how much longer?

Yes, I know everyone's already noticed the new 3D styling of the amount in the box... but I was wondering how much longer they will last.

A few times now, when the box has been opened, the amount has been half hanging off the inside lid of the box, it won't be long before we have another incident where the label drops off altogether!

I suppose they introduced it so it's easier for the independent adjudicator to put the amounts in the boxes - I assume they're easier to put in, now the number is raised and there's something to get hold of. Rather than having to bash the lid of the box as Noel had to do, when he removed the amount label to give it to one of the contestants at the end of their game! (Can't remember who it was... Daniel, where are you? :-D

I'm sure you'll know who it was...)

Yeah, you seem to be the resident DOND encyclopedia! Don't worry, I won't call you sad :lol:

... I'm not in a position to do that... seeing as though I created the DOND filming dates table! :shock:

Haha, I just have a very good memory...I don't sit there obsessively memorising these things, honest!

Anyway, seeing as I derail EVERY THREAD I POST IN, I shall attempt to get this one back on track - I forgot they'd even changed them until I read this post! I knew I'd get used to them quickly...

Still don't understand why they changed them, though. I can't say it's enhanced my viewing experience that much.

They could at least mount them on black foamboard instead of that crappy white stuff !! Though red and blue board would be even better !

- the new 3D labels are fixed in with Velcro - this being revealed when Noel removed the 1p label to give to Sally! :-D
