Some News about the Summer Break on the article too.

During half way through the second season (July 15, 2006), Noel announced, that Deal or No Deal will be taking a summer break. The final episode before its summer break, will be broadcast on July 22, 2006, with £10,000 up for grabs to viewers. Deal or No Deal should return from their summer break on September 4, 2006.

Also, they will be taking a Christmas break. We do not know yet the final episode before Xmas break.

It's a brilliant article they've got over there, but there are some obvious errors... (well, they're obvious to me! :-D

)...

They're all over the place with their "facts" regarding series dates, etc.

They state in several places that "series 3" will start on October 4th, as there are 230 episodes in series 2, but the person who calculated that clearly assumed that DOND will not be having a summer break, and counted the non-existent episodes in August. The last episode of series 2, and the first episode of Series 3 will therefore actually be shown more like early November... I think.

It's got me wondering now...

DOND is also almost definitely returning on 28/8, not 4/9.

This sounds like I'm moaning about it (well, I suppose I am :-D

), but I think it's a bit dodgy reporting stuff as "fact" when it isn't. I suppose, though, that's the problem with Wikipedia. As some of my teachers say, "Don't just copy stuff off Wikipedia, it's probably wrong anyway"!

By the way, if the person who put that series info on the DOND article is reading this, I'm not having a go at them - I'm just trying to make Wikipedia's DOND article better than it already is! It does have some interesting info on it, especially about the banker and Noel's catchphrases! :-D

there wasn't one. all there was was no christmas day show, and no new year's day show. i take it you didn't watch back then?

Just a tip, folks...you can edit Wikipedia articles even if you don't have an account. That's the entire point of the site.
