I was in the pub on Sunday night, and headed over to the quiz machine. One of the games available was Deal or No Deal. So I grabbed a few mates, got a couple of quid and started playing. The game is split into sections. The machine gives a player a target of so many points that they have to reach. Then they start playing DOND. The boxes have different amounts of points. The boxes also contain a different number of questions that the player must answer to continue, with the number of questions for each box ranging from 4 questions to no questions at all! After 5 boxes, the banker makes an offer. My target was 20000 points and the banker offered me 21000, so I took the deal.

This now takes me onto the second part of the game, where the player now plays for cash. The boxes now range from 10p to £20 and there are no questions, except one! When I played, the banker offered me £3, which I decided to take.

Got to say, I really enjoyed it, can't wait to play again!

Yes, a friend told me about the DOND quiz machine in pubs. Apparently it's only available in certain pubs...

I have a certain loathing towards pub quiz machines, especially as this one partially ruins the format of DOND by making the players answer numerous questions, which the real things strives on not doing.

yeah, only some pubs have the machines - but there are different vendors - we don't have the DOND game on ours, the best we can get is Bullseye.
