I have a copy Mally was kind enough to give me when we had a mini-reunion in Blackpool last weekend. It reads pretty well though there are one or two expletives [not-deleted :o ] and the overall subject matter is quite adult (not in that way...)

I believe Mally is hoping to get it marketed more widely and also on amazon.com, so keep your eyes peeled!

I've just tried this link and put in Mally Welburn (author) and 'The Boy who through through windows' (title) as that Hull newspaper article sounded really interesting. Its not coming up in the search results page though.

Then I had a wonderful idea. What if someone on here bought some copies in Hull and then put them up for sale on eBay so they can gain a wider distribution. Then we can all get one! :smt115 :smt041

I think I've finally found something to sell on eBay that will make me a pile of cash!

the book is excellent and i am about a chapter away from the end of it and would fully recommend it to anyone. Expect a sad and funny book that will literally keep you gripped all the way through.

Get hold of a copy if you can.

It will be in three parts and the first part is definately making me wanna get the next part when it comes out

The only thing that worries me is that it is just one book in a planned series of three. It's a bit like watching "Star Wars" without seeing "Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi".

Can someone who does buy the book please post a review somewhere on this forum - a decent review of a couple of hundred words or so and actually tell us what the book is all about and if it is worth buying. I'm really tempted to buy a copy to read on holiday in a months time, so I'd really appeciate some reviews on whether or not Mally can actually write. Perhaps someone could take the time to post a paragraph or two so we can judge for ourselves its content? If we're plugging his book, I'm sure Mally wouldn't mind if us fans of the show can have some kind of 'sneak peak' before deciding whether to buy?

Also, does anyone know if you buy via his website whether or not the guy will actually sign the book for you when it is posted out? That would be cool. 8) Contestant autographs. How many can YOU collect? Actually, that hobby would be just a little freaky...
