I am thinking Esher from October 2012 she maid good decisions, the swap was painful and upsetting. The Banker should of counted him self lucky that day. I think PJ from 2007, he deserved to win the 15k from the LTL because of the Banker. Worst ending you to a game?

In fact, it could be said that Esher's game was so depressing that it drove away the owner of this site. ;)

Tendai's and Ken's games from earlier this year definitely fall under that category as they both turned £30,000+ into either NOTHING or a HALF PENNY certificate in the space of a few minutes. Also, Anji's (October 2010) game was terrible as she also was only offered a SWAP at 2 box but she didn't get a hand-out after she won the 1p.

Above all of them, in my opinion, was Emma's game from May 2012 thanks to the multiple swaps she took because of the Banker's mind games, eventually ending in her winning £100 instead of the £50,000 she originally swapped for.

Craig had a similar thing to that after the day of Laura's game in 2007.

Corrine was a shocking ending. I felt sorry for her, she deserved the 250k

Martin who declined an insulting £6,100 on a £1 / £35,000 finish.

Yes I agree, I would of give him £5,000 consultation.

1p Matty had nasty ending to his game.

1p Trevor is the most obvious one.

He certainly does NOT fall under the "tragic endings" category, as his 3 SWAP offers we're followed by 3 ultra-generous offers that he fairly quickly batted away, thus earning himself the £10 in his box as a reward for his recklessness.

I definitely agree with Martin, Matty, and Trevor, however.

The ending to Orry's game, just for the shocking and dramatic way it finished

All of the above involved some level of stupidity, and ultimately could've been avoided.

The worst ending I can think of did not occur on the UK version. It happened on another country's version several years ago. Basically, someone won a blue amount, and ended up taking their own life because they thought they'd brought shame on their family. The report I read - long since taken down; I checked - said that the contestant went on the show to win enough money to help his family, as they were going through a rough patch financially, but ended up failing in his quest.

There is no ending that can be worse than that.

I Would Add Poor Peter From 30 January 2014. As It Felt As If He Was Going Home Wealthy And Telling His Family That he Could Give Them A Holiday. That Is What He Was Aiming For The Most.

On A Nice 2 Box With £750 & £10,000, He Got Such A Lousy Offer Of £2,375 :?. I Would Have Offered At Least £4,000 For That. Unfortunately, He Was Kinda Forced To Go On, It Was A Bit Disappointing To See Him Get The £750 Instead Of £10,000.

But On The Other Hand, Vicky Who Played The Day Before, Won £10,000 From Her Box. Anyway, It Was Down To 23 That Could Help Peter Out, But To Add To His Disappointment, It Just Took The £750 Away From Him And Sent Him Home With Nothing

Worst ending to a game has to be the one where Stuart Pearce slugged his penalty against Bodo Illgner's flailing legs and Chris Waddle's attempt to redress the balance saw the ball bruise and bloody Rudolph the Reindeer's shiny nose.
