I'm just wondering, when were the first times these events happened

- The first player to get a five-figure opening offer after discovering at least of the power 5 in the first round

- The seals on the box became sealed up as they are 'now' (well, until the show ended). As they were previously magnetic seals

- The red player name-tags were introduced

- The next person after £5 Irene to get an offer to get an offer above £1,000 following an all-red opening round

- The first player to swap their box, but NOT at 2-box or 17-box

- The first person to receive a 5-figure offer at 14-box

I do know that Dave E was the first player to win 1p after turning down a 5-figure offer, Bianca was the first player to get offered a SWAP at 11-box and not accept it and £950 Dave was the first player to deal for a 'blue' amount with a power-5 win still possible

Based off the YouTube videos it was Marie's game (Show 76) where the magnetic seals were last used, and the new seals used from Charles (Show 77) onwards.

That was Trevor with £12,600 after only hitting £10k and £75k on the right hand side by that point. Thanks to MisterAl's spreadsheet for that one :P

Also, Siobhan from Sept 2007 had an opening offer of £2,500 after £3k/£10k/£20k/£50k/£250k, which was the first red offer after an all-red since Irene :P

Think the first player to swap their box in the middle of the game was Ned in December 2006? It was at 8-box.

The red name badges arrived in John's game on December 30th 2013 - the first game after the show relocated to a new studio.

Another one, who was the first player to receive a 5-figure opening offer after losing at least one of the power 5 in the first round?

There's a few 'firsts' that are probably older than people realise:

The first hypo-swap occurred in March 2006.

The first Banker's Gamble was autumn 2007, it's probably more associated with late 2008/early 2009 games.

''Messing about'' in general has pretty much always been in there, sprinkled about like paprika. I'm thinking of that excruciating Marilyn + JT dance from March 2006 and somebody getting chucked out of the audience first happened in April 2006 (admittedly, that one time only, it was very funny). Don't forget tools like Marcus as well - I've only ever seen his show as part of the Hall of Fame 'highlight' reel from Double Deal Week and that's more than enough for me. ''It's literally my own show :-D :-D '' haha, grave.

- Candice who played 11 years ago yesterday had the first ever hypo-swap (She dealt at £19,000 and really undersold a £75k box but Noel hypo-swapped to make it look like she sold a £500 box  )

- The game you're referring to with the man in the audience being kicked out by Noel was Sandra (who arguably squandered THE easiest £100k win ever!). As you said, it was funny at the time, and then the whole 'Noel kicking people out for no reason' thing just got stupid from 2011-onwards

- Phyllis from October 2007 had the first 'Banker's gamble', but it wasn't referred to as the 'Banker's gamble' until its second use in Semi's game, months later. Another gimmick that was alright at first, and then got flogged to death and become predictable

- I think Pierre from July 2006 was the first player to receive a 5-figure opening offer after losing one of the power 5 in the opening round (IIRC he took out 2 blues/£1k/£15k/£50k and got offered £10,000, then got up to £24,000, then crashed and dealt at his lowest offer, £7,000, largely thanks to pressure from his girlfriend )

- Speaking of which, the first game that featured heavy pressure from the player's spouse/friend/relative to deal was probably Chris 2005. Everyone considers the infamous Donna from about the same time a year later to be when players having someone with them first became really frowned upon on here. But in Chris' game, his wife practically ORDERED him to deal at £24k by saying "if the £250k goes, you've got no fallback (by the way, he did have £20k and £35k backing it up!) and if you lose it, you're sleeping in the cold car" :| Chris seemingly just laughed off his wife's comments but he did take the £24k

Hahaha, that game brings back memories. We were all in the house, but only one of us was watching it. My brother, he was trapped in the front room thanks to a bust door. As we huddled around the door trying to break it down, he relayed the events of the game to us and mentioned his frosty boss of a wife.

Another one - When was the first time the banker personally spoke to someone other than Noel or the contestant? Was it when he picked a fight with John G in £41k Jessica's game? :?
