Does anyone know when it comes back from it's Summer hols? I had it in my head it was the 24th but obviously not.

Somebody on Digital Spy said 7th September but I haven't seen any mention on Digiguide.

UPDATE: It's not showing on Radio Times. Might be back when 15 To 1 is finished.

Humm the Radio Times still has 15 to 1 at the 3pm slot on the 7th but the listings are supposed to be 'provisional and subject to change'.

To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of DOND, Noel Edmonds will be playing the game HIMSELF on 18th September at 8PM!

It's obvious Noel will Deal early and not buy Box 23 unless he has a trainwreck game.

Now we get to see if Noel will practice what he preaches to the contestants.

I've been saying for years that Noel should play the game. After almost a decade of waiting, my prayers have been answered.

So August 2015 was the first DoND-free month since.....September 2005! - A whole decade ago! (Since the show debuted at the end of October that year!)

It'll be interesting to see if they can have a solid run for the rest of the year without it pulling it off every second week to look after the horse-racing fans!

The result's predictable for me - Noel'll win a large sum of money, £25,000 or £30,000-ish, and donate it to a well-known and well-loved charity. Which is why Noel will win a large sum of money.

I can't see many people watching it at 1:10. Viewer numbers will surely drop.

I see on Facebook that one of the ex players coming back for Noel's show is Orry.

They sure have done a great job catching up on break time this year! having had a solid run from August 2011 to June 2013, since this time last year, more and more gaps have been appeared in the show's run, with the weekend shows being dropped for good in October last year (Can't see them coming back anytime soon. Also laughable that the last ever weekend show had a player win NOTHING!), a break over Christmas and New Years and then since February, it's been breaks every second or third week (sometimes two weeks in a row) to cater to horse-racing telecasts!

Now the DoND's been on break for exactly 2 months as of today, the show would usually return from a summer break near the end of August, yet we're well into September now, and it's still not back and things are still sketchy as to when it's coming back! Sounds like it won't be back for at least another 2 weeks judging by talk on this thread, but i honestly wouldn't be surprised if it stays off until late October so that it comes back in time for the 10th Anniversary, so they can hold the anniversary close to its actual date

With all this break time, all the usual special weeks will be out of sync too! We'll be having the Christmas shows (providing there are some!) in January at this rate!

I'm pretty sure they're saving the Double Trouble specials for the holidays to account for this.

I think Easter specials, Banker's birthday specials and Summer Specials may be a thing of the past now, given that the show was mothballed for the horse-racing coverage this year, on the weeks that those specials would usually take place in. Also note that last year's Christmas week and the week leading up to new year's only had 2 shows, just speculation, but i wouldn't be surprised it'll be off completely for those two weeks (therefore Special weeks in general will become a thing of the past altogether! )

I have a feeling they're going to start pulling DoND off for entire weeks on-season when the horse racing coverage takes place, instead of having just 1 or 2 shows in those weeks, the way it's going!
