With the additional chance at +£10,000 but QUARTER being added, what's the max you'd be prepared to risk on Double Trouble's Box 23?

I think I would risk no more than £10,000 myself.

I'd probably be willing to risk anything below £10,000 now that there is a 60% chance of increasing my winnings. Anything in five figures still makes Box 23 feel like an even money coin-flip.

I REALLY hope they have QUADRUPLE as a Box 23 option for at least one set of specials this year. :-D

My sort of cut-off range usually lies in the £15k to £20k range for the standard 23, and that would probably shift up slightly (£2-3k maybe) with this new 23.

Points where the Box 23 gamble becomes negative EV (ie statistically in the long wrong you'd lose money)

Regular Box 23 contents £20,000
Special week Box 23 contents £16,000
Double Trouble week Box 23 contents £26,666,67

I'd probably consider low 5-figures. but as always, it would depend on the circumstances of the win.

I wouldn't trust there actually being twice as much chance of +£10k as anything else because there's no visible process telling me that, so I'm playing as though there's a 25% chance of nothing and that reduces my tipping point to just £3-4k.

More than £10k, I'd probably buy this 23 with anything as a 60 percent chance of increasing winnings.

You don't trust the Independent Adjudicator?

I don't trust anything that's not visibly seen to be fair.

If there were five small boxes and two had the +£10k then my tipping point on this form of 23 would be close to £10k.

Like I said it's worth the risk to risk it with any amount. A rather generous 23.

I'd risk it with anything under £2,000,000. Winnign that from the box would be amazing. Imagine turning down £1,500,000 one a 1p, £2m clima and winning.
